About The Polygraph Examiner
Your trusted and certified lie detector examiner serving North Carolina, South Carolina, and GeorgiaAndrew Goldstein LCPE
Hi, I’m Andrew Goldstein, a multi-state and certified forensic lie detector examiner. I serve clients across North Carolina, South Carolina, and parts of Georgia.
I work with individual families, attorneys, treatment providers, law enforcement, and federal offices, providing accurate, confidential, and court-recognized polygraph examinations.
When the truth matters most, I’m here to help.

My Background and Training as a Licensed Polygraph Examiner
I earned my certification in Forensic Psychophysiology from the International Academy of Polygraph in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, one of the country’s most respected training programs.
Since then, I’ve continued my education through advanced courses across the Southeast, including classes that allow me to polygraph post-convicted sex offenders for federal and state probation and parole.
As a lie detector examiner, I have conducted polygraph examinations for issues including, but not limited to: rape, robbery, murder, arson, molestation, narcotics, bribery, state medical review boards, infidelity, assault, forgery and pre-employment for police, fire departments and the armored car industry.
I have also worked with CNN, NBC, the federal defender’s office, the military, attorneys, police departments, and private individuals and businesses.
Licensing and Affiliations
Since using a polygraph to prove innocence, verify truthfulness, or question someone with approved techniques requires a license in some of the states I serve, here are some of my lie detector examiner licenses:
- Licensed by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
- Licensed by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board.
- As a certified polygraph examiner, I am a member of the:
- American Polygraph Association.
- North Carolina Polygraph Association, where I’m currently a board member.
- South Carolina Polygraph Association.
As a licensed polygraph examiner, I’ve also had the honor of leading training sessions for the North Carolina Polygraph Association.
Equipment and Methodology
All of my exams are conducted using a professional-grade polygraph chair with motion sensors that detect physical countermeasures.
My experience in chart analysis and interpretation is also extensive, and I’ve reviewed polygraph charts for both private examiners and law enforcement examiners across the country.
As your lie detector examiner, I ensure all results are kept strictly confidential, and every exam is conducted in a neutral location—never in private homes—to ensure consistency, accuracy, and privacy.
